Chemistry is concerned with all forms of matter, from atoms to crystals and solids.The study of these three components of science is a process that continues until we arrive at an increased level of scientific knowledge. In fact, there has been such progress that no one could be considered an amateur scientist anymore. If you were not involved in the process of research, you had no way of knowing what had been discovered. The idea that you will know everything the moment you turn your attention to science is something that must be considered with a grain of salt.When we study the properties of the world we call life, then we come to a stage where we can say that we have a certain understanding of chemistry. Compositi on of the life that we see is determined by chemistry and, therefore, this knowledge leads to more precise tests. The more we learn about chemistry, the more we find that there are many things that we were not aware of. Every aspect of this life on Earth is related to chemistry, not only the elements and minerals.Chemistry plays a key role in the way that cells form and how they function. There are many things that we know now about how the proteins form in the cell. We are discovering more details about how living systems depend on a continuous feedback between chemicals and other forms of energy, which takes place in cells. All of this information would not have been possible without chemistry.We also are learning new ways to control and manipulate the components of cells and to improve the conditions of their working, as well as increasing the efficiency of their chemical reactions. As time passes, the process of scientific knowledge comes to a point where it can be called comple te. At this point, we have learned so much that we can expect improvements in science that will continue on for a very long time.Each step that we take forward in the understanding of chemistry is an improvement of what we know about its constituents, their proper structure and their interactions. We are changing how we view the study of chemistry and everything it has led us to and we are only beginning to scratch the surface of this study.Cohesion in chemistry is the process of figuring out how all of this information fits together. It is something that can be compared to how the genome of a plant works in creating the DNA blueprint that is needed to create the next generation of the plant.
